In order to study (ω) property of bounded linear operator on Hilbert space, we first give the definition of the generalized Kato type. Based on the property of the generalized Kato type, the new spectral set is defined, with which the sufficient and necessary conditions of bounded linear operator on the Hilbert space to satisfy (ω) property are given, and the stability of (ω) property is discussed as well.
