Abstract

A dynamical game in the exploitation of age-dependent population resources is studied. The existence of Nash equilibria is established by means of Kakutani's fixed point theorem for multivalued mappings, and the structure of the equilibria is described by tangent-normal cones and adjoint system techniques. The conclusion shows that, under certain conditions, the optimal strategies are of Bang-Bang type.

Key words

Age dependence / dynamical game / Nash equilibrium / Kakutani fixed point / normal cone.
