Abstract

In this paper, under the condition that K(x,y)is continuous and nonnegativeand integral from G K(x,y)dy>0,it is proved that if (\bar{b}-\bar{a})/(\bar{b}+\bar{a})\alpha<1,then equationintegral from G K(x,y)\varphi~α(y)dy=\varphi(x) (α>1)has a unique positive solution.
