In this paper, issues on demand for animal products consumption mainly are studied by using factor analysis. First, we determine 14 factors influencing pork consumption. Then we reduce the dimensions through factor analysis. Next, followed by the rotation of the factors, the factor analysis results are
further adjusted, while using principal component analysis, scientific validation of the number of factors are conducted. Finally, we determine 3 main factors influencing pork consumption, namely, demand factor, price factor and population factor.
