    Arnoldi's method and the incomplete orthogonalization method (IOM) for large non-Hermitian linear systerns are studied. It is shown that the inverse of a general nonsingular j × j Hessenberg matrir can be updated in O(j2) flops from that of its(j-1)(j-1)principal submatrix.

    We propose the concepts of normalized market and average hedging strategies, and discuss the attainability of the portfolio optimization under transaction costs and multiple stocks, by the extended forms of the martingale approach and the duality thods.Incidentally,we give an upper bound of the expectation of the porfolio at terminal investing time.

    In this paper, we are concerned with bilevel programs with multiple followers. Three new solution concepts are introduced for a bilevel programming problem with multiple followers. First, one sufficient condition for the existence of a Nash equilibrium reaction is presented and the continuity of the reaction set is discussed.

    In this note we prove two theorems on the uniqueness of unbounded classical solutions of the magnetic Benard system which includes the classical Navier-Stokes equation, the Boussinesq equation and the magnetohydrodynamic equation as special cases.

    The paper first discusses the longtime behavior of the activator-inhibitor model, the existence of the maximal attractor is given. Then using the mathematical induction and the properties of linear semigroup, the regularity result for the maximal attractor is obtained.Next,it is proved that its Hausdorff of fractal dimension is finite.

    This article discusses the enhanced oil recovery numerical simulation of the chemical-flooding (such as surfactallts, alcohol, polymers) composed of three-dimensional multicomponent, multiphase and incompressible mixed fluids.     Eight families of Costas arrays with ideal cross-coincidence are algebraically constructed under the assumptin that the vertical shifts are appropriately bounded.These Costas arrays are useful for designing multiple Costas wavforms with small crossambiguities,if the potential Doppler shifts are restricted to a small portion of the waveform bandwidth.
